New Publication

One of the things we want to do as a project is to produce resources for social workers who are interested in using early action approaches with migrant families. We are therefore really excited that we have just had our first peer reviewed article published in an academic journal!

In the article we reflect as a staff team about our experiences of the early stages of the project - both good and bad! We’ve tried to be as transparent as possible, because we hope that by talking about the challenges of setting up a new project we can help others who might want to take a similar approach in the future. We also talk about the good will towards the project, the positives of working in a multi-agency team.

The article is open access, and you can read it at the Practice: Social Work in Action website
